The cosmetology course is structured to
successfully prepare students to pass a state administered license exam. Upon successful completion of the state license exam, students have demonstrated competency d are prepared for gainful employment in the field of cosmetology and or\related fields.
The course format includes but is not limited to lecture,
reading assignments, video audio, hands on demonstration, hands on
performance, evaluations, both written and oral.
Course Objective Goals:
The cosmetology course of study prepares
students to become future licensed cosmetologist. Basic and Advanced
Principles of salon and shop management will enable students to perform services on clients within the school and within their profession. Successful completion of this course 0 study enables students to sit for the State Board of Cosmetology examination upon completion of 1500 hours and gain entry level employment.
